Snowpocalypse in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

In early February this year I was itching to get out of the snowy cold of Wisconsin and head to Brazil. But mother nature had just a little bit more in store for me, to remind me of the beautiful snow I’m leaving behind in the north – a huge blizzard (and not the awesome ones from Dairy Queen). It was hyped up to be an epic storm and didn’t disappoint. The local weather forecasters really shine during these times – I think they secretly love it when everyone else is dreading the cleanup process. I was ready with new Samsung Captivate (thank you Aunt Sally!) in hand to take videos and pictures. This storm dropped 15-20 inches of snow depending on the area and wind gusts up to 40 mph. Due to the wind it caused 10-12 foot snowdrifts.
